Vanessa Mbaziira, ACCA


Vanessa is an Investment Associate at BiD Capital Partners (BCP) formerly known as BiD Network. BCP is a locally embedded international Impact Investment Advisory and Asset Management firm with operations in Netherlands, Belgium, Uganda, Rwanda and Kenya.

Her role entails identifying companies looking to fundraise growth capital and guiding them throughout the capital raising process. This involves conducting a detailed due diligence, investor mapping, preparation of investor facing documentation and deal structuring. Her niche is the financial, agriculture and mining sector.

Pual Nuwagaba


In a career spanning more than 20 years, Paul has gained extensive experience working in the banking and financial services industry in Uganda. Throughout his career, his passion has been driving organizational value through business development and risk management with an absolute focus on the customer and customer experience enhancing strategies, making extensive use of relationship-building and cross-functional synergies to achieve the desired outcomes. Paul is currently a Strategy and Business Development Consultant after his most recent tenure as the Chief Credit Officer at Housing Finance Bank Uganda.

He holds an MBA from Heriot Watt University (Scotland) and a BA in Economics and Rural Economy from Makerere University alongside a number of industry-specific certifications.

Marie Antonete Ainembabazi

Marie is an evidence-driven thinker that possesses a pool of excellent skills in knowledge building and sharing. She is zealous about designing, testing value propositions and running user research projects. She brings unique academic business knowledge with a combination of innovative methodologies to enable any business to create professional user-centered propositions.


Angel is a Co-Founder and Director at Adventure Expeditions Uganda, a Tour Company that organizes Tours and Safaris to Uganda and Rwanda with extensions Kenya and Tanzania. With over 10 years’ experience in Tour Operations and Tourist Guiding, she is very passionate about conservation of Nature and Wildlife, Responsible Tourism, Tourism Product development, Marketing, Tourist Guides’ Training, Quality Service Delivery and Customer Service, while empowering communities through Tourism training and volunteer projects to foster economic growth and improve livelihoods in the communities that surround Uganda’s protected areas. As a Trained and Experienced Tourist Guide, Tourist Guide’s Trainer, Angel strives to inspire and empower young ladies in this male-dominated profession to become the very best at what they do and in so doing grow their earnings and become more financially independent. She is looking forward to mentoring other women in the Tourism business.

Christine NAPEYOK

Christine has over 10 year’s extensive experience working in the HR function in the Manufacturing industry in South Sudan and Uganda. In this period she has interacted with all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes, supporting business needs and ensuring proper implementation of company strategy and objectives. She is driven by the need to promote corporate values and enable business success through human capital management that is hinged on giving employees a memorable experience from on boarding to exit. Christine is currently an HR Consultant after her most recent tenure as the Plant HR Manager at Hima Cement Limited.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in HR Management from Makerere University and has enrolled for an MBA from University Of East London.



Dickson holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University UK. He is also a Chartered Accountant with membership at the Institute of Certified Public Accountants Uganda (ICPAU) and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Public Accountants UK (ACCA).

He is also a Certified Internal Auditor and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors Uganda (IIA) where he has served on the Training and Certification committee.

Dickson has over 15 years’ experience in Internal Auditing and Risk Management for Financial Services and Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. The above experience has been obtained from organisations with both country, regional and global reach. Dickson is passionate about improving controls within organization to enable them manage their risk better.
